The Las Vegas Raiders play in the AFC West. This hub brings together the club’s official roster, player profiles, and related coverage.
The roster at a glance
The source lists 79 active, practice-squad, and reserve-list entries after released and transferred entries are excluded; 55 carry its ACT designation. An active-roster label is not a guarantee that a player will dress for a particular game.
Linked player names below open individual profiles. The roster was checked on September 20, 2026. It is a dated roster snapshot, not a game-day inactive report.
Why Raiders history includes Oakland and Los Angeles
The Raiders began play in 1960 as the Oakland Raiders, an American Football League team. The same franchise later represented Los Angeles, returned to Oakland and moved to Las Vegas. A change of city did not reset its records or create a new team.
The four chapters of the franchise
Oakland, 1960–1981: the original AFL era and the club’s first two Super Bowl-winning teams.
Los Angeles, 1982–1994: the Raiders played at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and won another Super Bowl.
Oakland, 1995–2019: the team returned to the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum.
Las Vegas, from 2020: the franchise moved into Allegiant Stadium.
The Oakland Coliseum did not host the Raiders’ entire first Oakland chapter. Before it opened in 1966, the club used Kezar Stadium and Candlestick Park in San Francisco as well as Frank Youell Field in Oakland. A team’s city label and its home game’s actual location can therefore tell different parts of the story.
Three Super Bowl wins and an earlier AFL title
The Raiders’ Super Bowl-winning seasons were 1976 and 1980 in Oakland, then 1983 in Los Angeles:
1976 season: Super Bowl XI, a 32–14 win over Minnesota in January 1977.
1980 season: Super Bowl XV, a 27–10 win over Philadelphia in January 1981.
1983 season: Super Bowl XVIII, a 38–9 win over Washington in January 1984.
Oakland also won the 1967 AFL championship before losing the ensuing Super Bowl to Green Bay. That AFL trophy and the three Super Bowl victories are distinct achievements; the 1967 league title should not be presented as a fourth Super Bowl win.
What this page’s results archive covers
The season-by-season table below starts in 1999 and groups results by franchise. Its Oakland seasons and Las Vegas seasons belong together, but its totals do not include the earlier AFL years, the Los Angeles era or any of the three Super Bowl-winning seasons. Play and drive totals cover 50 completed games across 32 teams. Games counted can differ by team. Rates use summed outcomes and opportunities; no minimum attempts apply. A missing value in any counted game withholds that metric. These are dated covered-game figures, not a complete season.

First downs count the play record's total flags, including recorded penalty awards; they can differ from drive summaries. Conversion attempts use recorded converted and failed down flags, including flagged kneels. Nullified downs, punts and field goals are not inferred attempts.
Inside-20 drives have a recorded down starting closer than 20 yards from the opponent's goal line. Reaching only the 20 is excluded. Only touchdowns for the possessing team on those drives count. This definition is not an official league red-zone ranking.
Possession includes overtime. Time is minutes:seconds; per-game time is rounded to the nearest second. Possession share divides the team's recorded seconds by the full elapsed time of its counted games, including overtime. Rates use summed opportunities and zero opportunities have no percentage. Equal displayed values share a rank; rankings describe only the matching supplied teams. — = not supplied.
Regular-season record and points; postseason shows how each run ended. Expected W is the win total implied by points scored and allowed (Pythagorean expectation, exponent 2.37); the small figure is actual minus expected, where +1 or more suggests close-game luck. From WHYNFL's results archive, which begins in 1999, counted by franchise (Raiders include Oakland, Chargers San Diego, Rams St. Louis). Splits cover the regular season and playoffs: night games kick off at 7 pm Eastern or later (games without a listed kickoff are left out), and one-score games are decided by 8 points or fewer.
