Preview updated October 2, 2026: Friday availability and viewing details have been added for the unbeaten AFC West matchup.
The Kansas City Chiefs visit the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, October 4. Kickoff is 4:25 p.m. EDT, or 1:25 p.m. PDT in Las Vegas. Both teams enter at 3–0, giving this divisional meeting significance beyond their unbeaten starts.
CBS carries the game in designated markets. Jim Nantz, J.J. Watt and Tracy Wolfson are the announced broadcast team. Paramount+ subscribers can stream the local CBS game where it is assigned; NFL+ provides live local games on phones and tablets. Neither description means the game is automatically available to every U.S. subscriber regardless of location.
Raiders radio coverage is on KOMP 92.3 FM and Raider Nation Radio 920 AM. Spanish coverage is on Deportes Vegas 1460 AM.
Brock Bowers was limited Friday but had no game designation. Treydan Stukes practiced fully throughout the week and also had no designation. For Kansas City, Patrick Mahomes, Chris Jones and Rashee Rice were full participants with no game designation; L’Jarius Sneed improved to full participation Friday.
The difference matters: a limited practice does not automatically mean a player is questionable, and O’Connell’s designation does not announce a change to the Raiders’ starting quarterback.
Powers-Johnson’s absence affects the Raiders’ interior, while Simmons’ absence affects the Chiefs at tackle. Protection and blocking combinations are therefore meaningful things to monitor before drawing conclusions from either team’s offensive production. This preview does not assign an unannounced replacement starter.
Bowers returned with 10 receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown in Las Vegas’ Week 3 win. His available role gives Kansas City a different coverage problem from simply defending the outside receivers. Whether the Chiefs devote extra attention to him, and what space that leaves elsewhere, is a matchup question rather than a forecast.
Friday designations are the current checkpoint. Sunday’s inactive list will settle remaining availability questions; the dated roster widgets elsewhere on this page are not a substitute for it.
The veteran receiver's agent expects a signing within days, a year after a severe knee injury, and Kansas City is among the teams in contact after losing two wideouts in Las Vegas.
The receiver dislocated his ankle on a 55-yard catch in the 30–27 win over the Raiders and faces three to four months of recovery, leaving a narrow path back for the postseason.
The Chiefs gained 523 net yards to Indianapolis’ 329, but the 33–30 finish required three overtime field goals between the teams.
