The source lists 82 active, practice-squad, and reserve-list entries after released and transferred entries are excluded; 53 carry its ACT designation. An active-roster label is not a guarantee that a player will dress for a particular game.

Who coaches the Bears in 2026?

Ben Johnson is in his second season as Chicago’s head coach. The Bears appointed him on January 21, 2025, as the franchise’s 18th full-time head coach. Keep that start date separate from a player’s arrival or development timeline when comparing seasons.

Planning entry at Soldier Field

Soldier Field is the Bears’ home stadium. The team’s bag policy distinguishes ordinary bags, diaper supplies and medical equipment, so choosing the right entrance and bag before leaving can prevent avoidable delays:

  • Standard clear bags: the maximum size is 12 by 6 by 12 inches, with only one logo on one side.
  • Small non-clear bags: wallets, wristlets and clutches may be no larger than 4.5 by 6.5 inches. A crossbody bag within those dimensions is allowed, but may not be worn around the waist.
  • Medical bags: these require screening and approval. The Bears identify Gates 8, 38 and 47 for medical-bag screening.
  • Diaper bags: only clear bags within the approved 12-by-6-by-12-inch dimensions are permitted; non-clear diaper bags are prohibited.
  • Blankets: you can carry one in your hands or place it in an approved clear bag.

Do not fold or conceal a prohibited bag to fit the size template. Check the Bears’ current entry guidance for your specific visit.
