The moves that matter
Broncos activate Bryant and finish the Rapp shuffle. Denver activated Bryant from injured reserve, placed defensive lineman Eyioma Uwazurike on IR with a shoulder injury, signed cornerback Sean Fresch from the practice squad to the 53-man roster, and signed safety Taylor Rapp to the practice squad before elevating him and running back Cody Schrader for Sunday’s game at the Carolina Panthers. The Rapp path matches the plan outlined after Friday’s vested-veteran release.
Rams make Garrett official and close Watson’s IR file. Los Angeles activated Garrett and running back Ronnie Rivers from injured reserve and placed Watson on IR. The club also elevated long snapper Jake McQuaide and cornerback Damarion Williams from the practice squad. Garrett is set for his Rams debut at Washington.
Falcons bring Pearce back and lose Robinson. Atlanta activated Pearce from the suspended list, activated linebacker Yasir Abdullah and wide receiver Beaux Collins from injured reserve, signed running back Khalil Herbert from the practice squad to the 53-man roster, elevated defensive end Drake Jackson, and placed Robinson on IR with a hamstring injury ahead of Sunday’s game in Madrid against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Lions put Campbell on IR. Detroit placed Campbell on injured reserve with a neck and spinal cord injury, signed defensive back Nick Whiteside from the practice squad to the active roster, and elevated edge rusher Anthony Lucas and running back Jabari Small for Sunday.
Saints activate Banks and Tyson, waive Miller. New Orleans activated offensive tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. and wide receiver Jordyn Tyson from injured reserve, waived running back Kendre Miller and tight end Treyton Welch, and elevated kicker Charlie Smyth and running back Zamir White from the practice squad. Tyson is set to debut against the Cleveland Browns.
Other Saturday moves
Patriots get Hollins back. New England activated wide receiver Mack Hollins from injured reserve for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.
49ers swap receivers on IR. San Francisco activated Demarcus Robinson from injured reserve and placed Christian Kirk on IR after a meniscus injury at Thursday’s practice. The club elevated KhaDarel Hodge from the practice squad and did not activate defensive back Nate Hobbs. Brandon Aiyuk still had no roster move filed.
Seahawks fill the open 53-man spot. Seattle signed defensive tackle Deven Eastern from the practice squad to the active roster and elevated tackle Bobby Hart and receiver Montorie Foster Jr. for Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, completing the roster move signaled by Friday’s Velus Jones Jr. shuffle.
Commanders activate Newton, Cardinals activate Adams, Giants sign Haener. Washington activated defensive tackle Jer’Zhan Newton from injured reserve, placed wide receiver Dyami Brown on IR with a calf injury, and elevated wide receiver Jaden Bradley. Arizona activated offensive lineman Isaiah Adams from IR and elevated running back Jerome Ford and tight end Shawn Bowman. The New York Giants signed quarterback Jake Haener to the practice squad after he cleared waivers and elevated running back Phil Mafah and defensive end Dawuane Smoot.
What comes next
Sunday’s games will show which elevations stick and which inactive lists change late. Brandon Aiyuk still had no San Francisco roster move as of Saturday evening. The trade deadline is Tuesday, November 10, at 4 p.m. ET.
