The league’s Wednesday transaction log filled in after our Wednesday roundup went up, and it shows more than 20 additional moves from 15 clubs. The Las Vegas Raiders released receiver Cody White, the San Francisco 49ers opened practice windows for cornerback Nate Hobbs and receiver Demarcus Robinson, and the Seattle Seahawks signed quarterback Adrian Martinez to the practice squad after he worked out for the Baltimore Ravens.

This is the supplement to our Wednesday roundup, which has the Jacoby Brissett trade, the Kentavius Street injured reserve move and the Trevor Keegan waiver claim. Every moves roundup is on our transactions page.

The moves that matter

Raiders cut White. Adam Schefter reported that Las Vegas released White, and the league’s log lists the move as a termination of a vested veteran. The Raiders also reinstated tight end Carter Runyon from injured reserve, which puts him back on the 53-man roster.

49ers open two windows. San Francisco announced that Hobbs and Robinson, both on injured reserve, can now practice, which starts a 21-day clock for the club to activate them or leave them on the list. The move comes with the 49ers short at receiver before the trade deadline, as we covered in our Shanahan story, and Brandon Aiyuk is due at the facility on Friday, as our Aiyuk story explains.

Seahawks add a quarterback. Mike Garafolo reported that Seattle signed Martinez, who has been with the 49ers and the New York Jets, to the practice squad, and that he worked out for the Ravens this week. Baltimore has since moved to acquire Brissett from Arizona.

Practice windows opened around the league

Six clubs opened 21-day windows for nine players on injured reserve. The Rams designated tight end Terrance Ferguson, linebacker Myles Garrett and running back Ronnie Rivers. The Patriots designated receiver Mack Hollins and guard Greg Van Roten, and our Wednesday injury report has the Hollins details. The Bills designated defensive back Jordan Hancock, the Broncos receiver Pat Bryant, the Packers running back Christopher Brooks and the Saints tackle Kelvin Banks.

A designation does not activate a player. Each club has 21 days from the start of practice to put the player on the active roster, or he stays on injured reserve for the rest of the season.

Practice squad moves and waiver results

Dallas signed running back Jashaun Corbin, Kansas City signed receiver Jacob De Jesus and the New York Jets signed receiver Joseph Manjack to their practice squads. The Rams re-signed receiver Alex Bachman to their practice squad a day after releasing him.

Atlanta signed linebacker Jared Ivey to the practice squad after he cleared waivers, the same route Houston’s Jaden Crumedy and New England’s Elliott Davison took. Two other waived players, Lions defensive back Bishop Fitzgerald and Eagles cornerback Jakorian Bennett, cleared waivers on Wednesday, and any club can sign them now.

What comes next

The Ravens can make roster moves until 4 p.m. ET on Thursday, Jeff Zrebiec reported, and they will likely need to elevate kicker Jake Moody and quarterback Austin Reed from the practice squad or add them to the 53-man roster. Zrebiec added that Baltimore figures to open two spots by moving Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley to injured reserve, and the league’s log had not shown either move by Thursday morning. Rams cornerback Jaylen Watson is also headed for season-ending shoulder surgery, as our Wednesday injury roundup explains. The trade deadline is Tuesday, November 10, at 4 p.m. ET.
