The Arizona Cardinals placed starting right guard Isaiah Adams on injured reserve Saturday with an ankle injury. The team does not believe Adams’ injury will keep him out as long as left tackle Paris Johnson Jr., who was lost for the season earlier this week, per Pro Football Rumors.

Third-year guard Jon Gaines II will start in Adams’ place while he recovers. Adams will miss at least four games.
