The Los Angeles Chargers placed quarterback Trey Lance and offensive tackle Trevor Penning on injured reserve Saturday, continuing a run of roster attrition for the winless club. Both will miss at least four games.

Taking their roster spots, the Chargers activated fullback/defensive lineman Scott Matlock and offensive lineman Branson Taylor from injured reserve, the team announced, per Pro Football Rumors.
