Week 7 Sunday starts in Paris, where the Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints kick off at the Stade de France at 9:30 a.m. ET, 4:30 p.m. in Cairo. By then the last big injury calls of the week will start to land. The Baltimore Ravens have already ruled out Lamar Jackson, the Kansas City Chiefs’ L’Jarius Sneed stayed behind for personal reasons when the team flew to Seattle, and the New York Giants downgraded Jevon Holland and Theo Johnson to out. Puka Nacua, Breece Hall, Calvin Ridley, Pat Surtain II and Baker Mayfield all go into the day listed as questionable.

  • Ravens: QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) downgraded to out on Saturday; Tyler Huntley starts for a third straight game
  • Chiefs: CB L’Jarius Sneed (knee) did not travel with the team on Saturday but will meet it in Seattle and is still questionable
  • Giants: S Jevon Holland (concussion) and TE Theo Johnson (neck) downgraded to out at Houston
  • Rams: WR Puka Nacua (calf) will work out before kickoff in Las Vegas
  • Jets: RB Breece Hall (quadriceps) questionable against Miami
  • Titans: WR Calvin Ridley (hip) questionable after missing Friday’s practice
  • Broncos: CB Pat Surtain II (ankle) questionable at Arizona
  • Activated and expected to play: Josh Jacobs, Jordan Mason, Jonah Coleman, Tank Dell, Christian Kirk, Brian Branch, Cade Mays, Jonathon Cooper and A.J. Terrell Jr.

Lamar Jackson misses a third straight game

The Ravens made the call on Saturday afternoon, a day after Jackson had been listed as questionable with his high ankle sprain. Huntley starts against the Cincinnati Bengals at M&T Bank Stadium, with Cam Jurgens at center after he cleared the concussion protocol. Safety Jaylinn Hawkins is also out and defensive tackle Broderick Washington Jr. is questionable. What Jesse Minter and Huntley said is here.

L’Jarius Sneed stays back, then heads to Seattle

The Chiefs announced on Saturday that Sneed was not traveling with the team for personal reasons but would join it in Seattle before Sunday night’s game. His status did not change: he is still questionable with a knee injury. Kansas City has already ruled out receiver Rashee Rice and right tackle Jaylon Moore, and it put running back Brashard Smith on injured reserve, signed Jaydn Ott from the practice squad and activated linebacker Cooper McDonald, who no longer has a designation.

The Seahawks will be without running back Zach Charbonnet and linebackers Drake Thomas and Chazz Surratt. Safety Nick Emmanwori (hip), backup quarterback Drew Lock (elbow) and outside linebackers Uchenna Nwosu, DeMarcus Lawrence and Connor O’Toole are questionable, and guard Anthony Bradford is back from injured reserve.

Giants lose Jevon Holland and Theo Johnson

The Giants were already without middle linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, who went on injured reserve on Saturday with a season-ending torn chest muscle, and cornerback Greg Newsome II, who is in the concussion protocol. On Saturday they downgraded Holland, who had been trying to get final clearance from the concussion protocol that morning, and Johnson, who did not make the trip to Houston because of his neck injury. Cornerback Paulson Adebo came off injured reserve and is questionable, as are tackles Jermaine Eluemunor and Marcus Mbow and safety Tyler Nubin.

Houston has injury problems of its own: running back David Montgomery, safeties Jalen Pitre and Reed Blankenship and tackle Blake Fisher are out. But receiver Tank Dell is back on the active roster for his first game in almost two years.

The pregame workouts to watch

Nacua is the biggest name with a decision still to make. Sean McVay said the receiver will test his calf before the Los Angeles Rams play the Las Vegas Raiders at 4:25 p.m. ET, and cornerback Trent McDuffie (groin) is also questionable. The Rams’ full report is here.

In New Jersey, the New York Jets list Hall as questionable with a quadriceps injury after a limited Friday practice, along with running back Kene Nwangwu (knee) and guard Dylan Parham (knee). Tackle Max Mitchell and edge rusher Joseph Ossai are out. The Miami Dolphins get back receiver Caleb Douglas and running back Jaylen Wright, activated safety Kyle Louis from injured reserve, and rule out cornerback Reese Taylor. Robert Beal Jr. is doubtful.

In Nashville, Ridley did not practice on Friday because of his hip and is questionable for the Tennessee Titans against the Cleveland Browns, as is running back Tyjae Spears (knee). Cleveland activated running back Dylan Sampson from injured reserve and moved guard Teven Jenkins there, and cornerback Denzel Ward (hand) and linebacker Quincy Williams (neck) are questionable. Quarterback Dillon Gabriel is out.

Mayfield is listed as questionable with his right thumb, but Todd Bowles said on Friday that he is ready to start for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the Carolina Panthers. Tampa Bay is without receiver Emeka Egbuka, safety Antoine Winfield Jr. and tackle Luke Goedeke, and Carolina without edge rusher Jaelan Phillips.

Surtain was limited all week and could return after missing two games when the Denver Broncos visit the Arizona Cardinals. Denver activated Jonah Coleman and Jonathon Cooper and put Tyler Badie and Jonah Elliss on injured reserve. Arizona has ruled out rookie running back Jeremiyah Love again, and quarterback Carson Beck (back) and safety Budda Baker are questionable.

Paris: DeShon Elliott is back, Rico Dowdle is questionable

The Steelers activated safety Elliott from injured reserve on Saturday and elevated receivers Brandon Smith and Brandon Johnson from the practice squad. Running back Dowdle (knee) was limited on Friday and is questionable, while cornerback Brandin Echols and receiver Ben Skowronek are out. The Saints list guard Cesar Ruiz (knee) and defensive tackle Nathan Shepherd (illness) as questionable. Inactive lists for the Paris game are due at 8:00 a.m. ET, 3:00 p.m. in Cairo.

Returns in Green Bay, Detroit, Minnesota and San Francisco

The Green Bay Packers activated running back Josh Jacobs from exempt status and defensive tackle Jordon Riley from the physically unable to perform list for the 4:25 p.m. ET game at Detroit, where they are still without Micah Parsons and Zaire Franklin. The Detroit Lions answered with safety Brian Branch, back for the first time since tearing his Achilles tendon last December, and center Cade Mays. The Minnesota Vikings activated running back Jordan Mason, who has no designation against the Indianapolis Colts, and Christian Kirk will make his San Francisco 49ers debut at Atlanta with Nick Bosa, Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel out. The 49ers’ report is here, and every Saturday move is in our transactions roundup.
