The last of Friday’s Week 7 injury reports landed late in the evening, and the unbeaten San Francisco 49ers took the biggest hit. Kyle Shanahan ruled out Nick Bosa, Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel for Sunday’s game at the Atlanta Falcons. The Baltimore Ravens listed Lamar Jackson as questionable, the Los Angeles Rams did the same with Puka Nacua, the Kansas City Chiefs ruled out Rashee Rice again and the New York Giants lost middle linebacker Tremaine Edmunds for the rest of the season.

  • 49ers: DE Nick Bosa (calf), WR Mike Evans (Achilles), WR Deebo Samuel (hamstring), LB Garret Wallow, LB Luke Gifford and S Marques Sigle out; WR Christian Kirk questionable and expected to come off injured reserve
  • Ravens: QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) questionable after three limited practices; S Jaylinn Hawkins out
  • Rams: WR Puka Nacua (calf) and CB Trent McDuffie questionable; LB Nate Landman out
  • Chiefs: WR Rashee Rice (hamstring), RT Jaylon Moore (concussion) and RB Brashard Smith (hamstring) out
  • Giants: LB Tremaine Edmunds out for the season with a torn chest muscle
  • Broncos: CB Pat Surtain II (ankle) questionable; WR Jaylen Waddle cleared to play
  • Seahawks: RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) out; S Nick Emmanwori (hip) questionable
  • Cardinals: RB Jeremiyah Love (ankle) out again
  • Eagles: RB Saquon Barkley limited again before Monday night; DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert and Jonathan Greenard did not practice

49ers head to Atlanta without Bosa, Evans and Deebo

Shanahan gave his final injury report before the 6-0 49ers flew to Atlanta. Bosa, who was not seen at practice on Thursday, will miss the game with a calf injury. Evans is out with an Achilles problem and Samuel with a hamstring injury, and linebackers Garret Wallow (hamstring) and Luke Gifford (groin) and safety Marques Sigle (ankle) are also out.

Safeties Siran Neal (knee) and Upton Stout (shoulder) are questionable, as is receiver Christian Kirk, who is expected to come off injured reserve on Saturday to make his 49ers debut. Mike Garafolo noted that San Francisco has its bye after this game, so Evans gets two weeks to rest.

Lamar Jackson is questionable

The Ravens made it official on Friday evening: Jackson is questionable for Sunday’s home game against the Cincinnati Bengals after three limited practices. Earlier in the day he said he has a high ankle sprain and is “headed in the right direction,” but that he will not play if he would just be standing in the pocket. Safety Jaylinn Hawkins is out, and outside linebacker Tavius Robinson has a season-ending injury. Everything Jackson said on Friday is here.

Puka Nacua will test his calf before kickoff

Nacua did not practice on Friday and is questionable for Sunday’s game at the Las Vegas Raiders. Sean McVay said Nacua stopped practicing on Thursday because he felt he could not “have some of the power and full explosion” with his calf, and he said Nacua will work out before the game to see where he is. Cornerback Trent McDuffie is also questionable and linebacker Nate Landman is out. Thursday’s Nacua news is here.

Rashee Rice is out again

Andy Reid confirmed that Rice will miss Sunday night’s game at the Seattle Seahawks with a right hamstring injury. The receiver also had a knee listed on the report and did not practice all week. Right tackle Jaylon Moore is still in the concussion protocol and running back Brashard Smith hurt his hamstring on Thursday, so both are out too. Reid said Jaydn Ott is likely to be elevated from the practice squad in Smith’s place, Nate Taylor reported.

Seattle has its own problems. Running back Zach Charbonnet, who came off the physically unable to perform list on Thursday, was ruled out with a knee injury, and safety Nick Emmanwori (hip), quarterback Drew Lock (elbow) and outside linebacker Connor O’Toole (hamstring) are questionable. Linebackers Drake Thomas (ankle) and Chazz Surratt (calf) are out.

Tremaine Edmunds’ season is over

The Giants’ leading tackler is done for the year. Dan Duggan reported that Edmunds has a season-ending injury, and Jordan Raanan reported that it is a torn chest muscle. Edmunds wanted to play through it but could not. Duggan said it happened on the New Orleans Saints’ last real play from scrimmage in the Giants’ game against them, when Edmunds made a tackle on third-and-4 to force the punt that set up the Giants’ final drive, and his left arm was hanging when he got up.

Edmunds has 50 tackles and two sacks this season and wore the green dot to call the defense. Micah McFadden will take over at middle linebacker and the play calls, Raanan reported. The Giants also learned that outside linebacker Chauncey Golston, who went on injured reserve earlier this month with a neck injury, is out for the season. Before the trip to Houston, safety Jevon Holland will try to get final clearance from the concussion protocol on Saturday morning.

Pat Surtain II questionable, Jaylen Waddle cleared

The Denver Broncos could get their All-Pro cornerback back at the Arizona Cardinals. Surtain, who has missed two games with an ankle injury, was limited all week and is questionable. Waddle was a full participant on Friday after two limited days and is clear to play, Nick Kosmider reported. Running back Jonah Coleman is questionable but practiced fully all week and still needs to be activated from injured reserve, while outside linebacker Jonah Elliss, safety Talanoa Hufanga and running back Tyler Badie are out. For Arizona, coach Mike LaFleur ruled out rookie running back Jeremiyah Love, who is still recovering from a high ankle sprain.

Eagles: Barkley limited again before Monday night

The Philadelphia Eagles play the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night, so they will not give game designations until Saturday. Barkley was limited again on Friday with his hamstring. Receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring), tight end Dallas Goedert (knee), outside linebacker Nolan Smith (concussion) and receiver Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) did not practice, and outside linebacker Jonathan Greenard (ankle) sat out after he was limited on Thursday.

The full list of players ruled out

Adam Schefter counted 30 notable players who have been ruled out for Sunday, including Tampa Bay’s Emeka Egbuka, Indianapolis’ Tyler Warren and Sauce Gardner, Houston’s David Montgomery, Carolina’s Jaelan Phillips, Cleveland quarterback Dillon Gabriel and Green Bay linebacker Zaire Franklin. Friday’s earlier reports are here, and the Chicago Bears put tight end Cole Kmet on injured reserve on Friday. Ben Johnson’s update on Kmet is here.
