Week 7 Sunday starts early for NFL fans in Egypt. The Pittsburgh Steelers and the New Orleans Saints kick off the first regular-season game in France at 4:30 pm Cairo time, and the day runs through to the Kansas City Chiefs at the Seattle Seahawks at 3:20 am on Monday. The week ends with the Dallas Cowboys at the Philadelphia Eagles at 3:15 am on Tuesday. The Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Chargers and Washington Commanders are on bye.

Egypt stays on summer time until the end of next Thursday, so every kickoff below is seven hours ahead of U.S. Eastern time. The Chicago Bears already won Thursday’s opener, beating the New England Patriots 30-24.

4:30 pm: Steelers vs. Saints in Paris

The game at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis kicks off at 9:30 am Eastern. France turns its clocks back one hour at 3 am on Sunday, a few hours before the game, so it starts at 2:30 pm in Paris and 4:30 pm in Cairo. For this one day, Paris is two hours behind Cairo instead of one.

The Steelers, at 4-2, are the designated road team against the 2-4 Saints. Pittsburgh’s final report came from an estimated practice after the storm wiped out its plans at the stadium, and it listed T.J. Watt (calf) with no designation, while running back Rico Dowdle and safety DeShon Elliott are questionable. New Orleans ruled nobody out, and Alvin Kamara has no designation. The full Friday reports are in our first Week 7 injury roundup.

The week around the game has been tense. Storm Austen shut the league’s fan festival below the Eiffel Tower, the league closed its Paris store for Saturday as police banned a protest march, and on Friday President Donald Trump said the league could have postponed the game. The league says the game is on, and both teams are in France.

8:00 pm: seven games at once, led by the unbeaten 49ers

Seven games start together at 1 pm Eastern. The 6-0 San Francisco 49ers visit the 2-4 Atlanta Falcons without Nick Bosa, Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel, while receiver Christian Kirk is expected to come off injured reserve. The Baltimore Ravens host the Cincinnati Bengals with Lamar Jackson questionable after three limited practices with a high ankle sprain.

The 5-0 Minnesota Vikings host the Indianapolis Colts, who ruled out Tyler Warren, Sauce Gardner and Anthony Gould. Baker Mayfield is expected back for the 1-5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina, but Emeka Egbuka is out. The winless Miami Dolphins are at the New York Jets, the New York Giants play at Houston without linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, whose season is over, and the Cleveland Browns visit the 1-5 Tennessee Titans.

11:05 pm and 11:25 pm: Packers at Lions and Rams at Raiders

The Denver Broncos open the late window at the Arizona Cardinals at 11:05 pm, with Pat Surtain II questionable and Arizona running back Jeremiyah Love out again. At 11:25 pm, the Green Bay Packers visit the Detroit Lions in an NFC North game without linebacker Zaire Franklin, and the Los Angeles Rams play at the Las Vegas Raiders. Puka Nacua is questionable for the Rams, and Sean McVay said he will test his calf before kickoff.

Late nights: Chiefs at Seahawks and Cowboys at Eagles

The unbeaten Chiefs play at Seattle at 3:20 am on Monday in Cairo. Kansas City ruled out Rashee Rice, right tackle Jaylon Moore and running back Brashard Smith, and Seattle ruled out Zach Charbonnet. All of the final designations are in our final Week 7 injury report.

Cowboys at Eagles is at 3:15 am on Tuesday. It is Dallas’ third straight prime-time game. Because the game is on Monday, the final injury reports and game designations come out on Saturday. On Friday, Saquon Barkley was limited again, and DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert and Jonathan Greenard did not practice.

Next week is different: Egypt turns its clocks back on Oct. 29, so the Week 8 Thursday game starts an hour earlier in Cairo. Every kickoff is on our full NFL schedule, night games are on the prime-time schedule and each team’s week off is on the bye-week page.

The why matters.
