Running back Tony Pollard (rest) and defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers (rest) did not practice Wednesday as the Tennessee Titans opened Colts week, and safety Kevin Winston Jr. (shoulder) also sat out, the club announced. Cornerback Cordale Flott (chest) and cornerback Joshua Williams (pectoral) were full participants, with Williams working inside his 21-day injured-reserve return window.

Tennessee (0-5) visits the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, October 18, at Lucas Oil Stadium for a noon CDT kickoff after a 26-3 loss to Houston. Week 5 recap.

Limited group and the backfield

Safety Amani Hooker (concussion), cornerback Marcus Harris (ankle), tight end David Martin-Robinson (hamstring) and running back Tyjae Spears (knee) were limited. Pollard’s rest day keeps him unavailable for practice participation on the first day of the report; the club has already said it is not shopping him before the trade deadline. Pollard trade stance.

Spears’ limited listing is the first midweek signal on how heavily Tennessee will lean on its second back against Indianapolis. Winston Jr.’s shoulder kept him out entirely after he appeared among the Week 5 in-game injury notes. Week 5 injury notes.

What it means for Sunday

Thursday and Friday reports will set designations. Hooker’s concussion protocol track and Winston’s shoulder are the clearest watch items on defense, while the Pollard–Spears split on offense will shape how Tennessee tries to protect Cam Ward against a division rival that just lost at home to Pittsburgh. Colts’ Week 5 result.

The why matters.
