Ravens held Jurgens physical at Eagles facility

The Baltimore Ravens held a physical for newly acquired center Cam Jurgens at the Philadelphia Eagles’ facility before completing the trade, according to multiple reports. Jurgens was acquired Wednesday.

Jurgens remains in the NFL’s concussion protocol and has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons, so his Ravens debut will wait. Fourth-string center Olaivavega Ioane is in line to start for Baltimore, which is already without quarterback Lamar Jackson (ankle).

Changing of the guard in Philadelphia

The trade accelerates an offensive line transition for the Eagles, who have reworked their line over the past week, promoting Jake Majors and Carson Steele from the practice squad. What Philadelphia received in return has not been fully detailed publicly.
