Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Kendrick Bourne has a fractured tibia and will miss the rest of the season, Adam Schefter reported on Monday evening. The injury to his right ankle does not need surgery but will keep him out about three months. Cardinals head coach Mike LaFleur had said earlier in the day that it was “not looking good,” adding, “Not saying it’s the season, but it might be.”

  • Bourne had one catch on Sunday in the 33-30 overtime win over the Dallas Cowboys; he has 26 catches for 263 yards in eight games
  • Rookie running back Jeremiyah Love has a new ankle injury and LaFleur said more will be known on Wednesday
  • Commanders running back Jeremy McNichols is expected to miss multiple months with a foot injury, and Washington is still doing scans
  • On Monday night, the Bears lost defensive tackles Kentavius Street and Grady Jarrett in a 34-17 win over the Seahawks, and Seattle lost Leonard Williams to a stinger

Cardinals: Bourne is done, and Love’s ankle is a new one

Bourne posted a photo of himself on crutches and in a walking boot. He is the second Arizona receiver lost to a major injury in a week, after the team lost Jalen Brooks for the season.

Love walked off in the first half on Sunday, slammed his helmet on the sideline and went into the blue injury tent before walking to the locker room. LaFleur said the injury is not related to the right ankle sprain he had in the preseason or the left ankle problem that kept him out the previous two games. “It’s a new portion of the ankle,” LaFleur said, adding that it is higher on the right ankle. He had not yet spoken to Love and said he would have more on Wednesday.

The Cardinals’ overtime win over the Cowboys is covered here.

Commanders: McNichols faces months out

McNichols hurt his foot in Sunday night’s 27-10 win over the Eagles. Head coach Dan Quinn did not open his Monday press conference with his usual injury updates but said, “They’re gonna do some more scans as we get through tomorrow. But it’s enough that we’re concerned today.” Quinn said he would update the injury on Wednesday and that the team could look at its practice squad or other outside help at running back. Tashan Reed reported that McNichols is expected to miss multiple months.

McNichols had been sharing the backfield with Rachaad White and Austin Ekeler. Washington plays the Los Angeles Rams next.

Monday Night Football: Bears and Seahawks each lose linemen

The Bears beat the Seahawks 34-17 in Seattle, but they lost two veteran defensive tackles. Kentavius Street appeared to hurt his knee in the fourth quarter and was carted off, visibly in pain. Grady Jarrett was ruled doubtful to return with a groin injury and finished with one tackle. Newly acquired Jeffery Simmons made his Bears debut in the game.

For Seattle, defensive tackle Leonard Williams went into the injury tent late in the third quarter with a stinger and did not return; he stayed on the sideline without his helmet. “Leo had a stinger, and we’ll see how that shakes out,” head coach Mike Macdonald said. Macdonald also said outside linebacker Connor O’Toole came out with a foot injury.

The Seahawks did get good news on running backs Jadarian Price, who came off injured reserve after missing four games with a chest injury, and Zach Charbonnet, who played for the first time since he tore his ACL last January. They combined for 16 carries and 52 yards. “To my knowledge, the running backs came out OK,” Macdonald said.

Jaguars: Hamilton and Murray are out for the year

Jaguars head coach Liam Coen confirmed on Monday that defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton, who tore his quad, and safety Eric Murray, who hurt his elbow on the opening kickoff, are done for the season. Jacksonville’s first injury report for Thursday night’s game at Baltimore also listed running back Bhayshul Tuten and edge rusher Travon Walker as not practicing, and safety Antonio Johnson as limited, one of 10 Jaguars on the report.

Hamilton’s injury and the rest of Monday’s updates are covered here.

What comes next

Quinn and LaFleur both said they would have more on Wednesday, when most teams release their first injury reports of the week. The Ravens and Jaguars, who play Thursday night, already have. The trade deadline is Tuesday, Nov. 10.
