Bryant heads to injured reserve

The Denver Broncos promoted wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey to their active roster and placed wide receiver Pat Bryant on injured reserve, the club announced on its official website.

Bryant’s move to injured reserve means he will miss at least four games. The Broncos did not detail the nature of his injury in the transaction announcement.

Humphrey rejoins the 53

Humphrey returns to Denver’s 53-man roster, giving the Broncos an experienced depth option at receiver for Sunday’s Week 5 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The move continues a week of roster shuffling for Denver, which also ruled out cornerbacks Pat Surtain II and Riley Moss and saw head coach Sean Payton take back play-calling duties.
