Cardinals beat Eagles 32–25 in the NFC Championship Game

The Arizona Cardinals beat the Philadelphia Eagles 32–25 at home at University of Phoenix Stadium in the NFC Championship Game of the 2008 playoffs on January 18, 2009. It was a one-score game at the finish, decided by 7 points.

The Eagles went 9–6–1 in the regular season and the Cardinals went 9–7. The Cardinals had already beaten the Atlanta Falcons in the Wild Card round and the Carolina Panthers in the Divisional round. The Cardinals’ run ended in the Super Bowl XLIII, a 27–23 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The loss ended the Eagles’ season.

In their previous meeting, the Philadelphia Eagles won 48–20 on November 27, 2008. When they met again, the Arizona Cardinals won 21–17 on November 13, 2011.
