The rest of the league’s Wednesday injury reports came in after the first wave of practices, and they brought a milestone for Seattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet, a sore back for Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love and bad news for the Carolina Panthers’ pass rush. The San Francisco 49ers held Nick Bosa, Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel out again, and Trent McDuffie did not practice for the Los Angeles Rams.

  • Seahawks: RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) a full participant for the first time since his ACL return
  • Packers: QB Jordan Love (back) limited on an estimated report; he says there is no chance he misses Sunday
  • Panthers: OLB Jaelan Phillips (hamstring) set to miss Sunday’s game against Tampa Bay
  • 49ers: DE Nick Bosa (calf), WR Mike Evans (Achilles tendinitis) and WR Deebo Samuel (hamstring) did not practice; WR Christian Kirk full
  • Chiefs: WR Rashee Rice and T Josh Simmons did not practice; TE Travis Kelce (ankle) limited
  • Rams: CB Trent McDuffie (groin) did not practice
  • Texans: WR Tank Dell (knee) full and expected to play; RB David Montgomery (groin) and six others did not practice
  • Colts: TE Tyler Warren (groin) and CB Sauce Gardner (calf) did not practice; Vikings WR Justin Jefferson (ankle) limited

Zach Charbonnet takes another step

Charbonnet tore his ACL last season and returned to practice on October 1. He had been listed as limited on every injury report since then, but on Wednesday Seattle listed him as a full participant for the first time, Brady Henderson noted. The Seahawks host the unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night.

Quarterback Drew Lock (right elbow), receiver Rashid Shaheed, guards Anthony Bradford and Beau Stephens, and linebacker Tyrice Knight (oblique) were limited. Linebackers Drake Thomas, Connor O’Toole (hamstring) and Chazz Surratt did not practice, and DeMarcus Lawrence was held out for a reason not related to injury.

On the Kansas City side, receiver Rashee Rice and tackles Josh Simmons and Jaylon Moore did not practice. Travis Kelce was limited with an ankle injury, and cornerback L’Jarius Sneed was also limited. Patrick Mahomes and guard Trey Smith (hip) were full participants.

Jordan Love lands on the report with a sore back

The Packers held a walkthrough instead of a full practice, so their report was an estimate, and it listed Love as limited with a back injury. Love did not miss a snap in the Week 6 win over the Dallas Cowboys. He said he has some “lingering effects” from that game, but Matt Schneidman reported that Love said there is no chance he misses Sunday’s game at the Detroit Lions.

Receiver Bo Melton (back) was the only Packer listed as a non-participant. Receivers Christian Watson (ankle), Matthew Golden (shoulder) and Savion Williams (ankle) were limited along with guard Aaron Banks. Running back Josh Jacobs, back from the Commissioner Exempt list, was not on the report at all, but Matt LaFleur has not committed to him playing on Sunday.

Jaelan Phillips will miss Week 7

Dave Canales said the Panthers are preparing to host the Buccaneers without Phillips, who reinjured his left hamstring in Sunday’s win over the Philadelphia Eagles. “The MRIs, the findings, this is something that we’re going to have to treat more intensively,” Canales said. He would not speculate on whether Phillips can play on the short week at Green Bay, where Carolina plays on Thursday night in Week 8.

Phillips signed a four-year, $120 million deal in March and has 2.5 sacks this season. Special teams linebacker Thomas Incoom (calf) is week-to-week but will not go on injured reserve right away, and practice squad linebacker Nick Hampton is expected to be called up. Quarterback Bryce Young (knee) was a full participant, as were running back AJ Dillon and tackle Monroe Freeling, who both missed last week.

49ers still waiting on Bosa, Evans and Samuel

Kyle Shanahan kept Bosa, Evans and Samuel out of a lower-tempo practice after the Monday night win over the Washington Commanders. Bosa has been out since Week 2 with a calf injury, and Shanahan said he hopes Bosa can get back on the field later this week. Evans is managing the Achilles tendinitis that forced him out on Monday night, and the hope is that he can play at Atlanta. Christian Kirk was a full participant.

Defensive end Mykel Williams (knee), linebackers Garret Wallow and Luke Gifford, cornerback Upton Stout and safeties Marques Sigle and Siran Neal also did not practice, and Trent Williams had a rest day. For the Falcons, rookie linebacker Kendal Daniels was a full participant three days after he was taken off the field on a stretcher, and cornerback A.J. Terrell Jr. was limited after his practice window opened.

Around the league

The Rams held out McDuffie (groin) and linebacker Nate Landman before Sunday’s trip to Las Vegas. In Houston, Tank Dell was a full participant and is expected to play against the New York Giants in his first game since December 2024. Running back David Montgomery (groin), linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair (knee), safeties Reed Blankenship (concussion/hand) and Jalen Pitre (shoulder), tackles Trent Brown (wrist) and Blake Fisher (thumb) and tight end Dalton Schultz (quad) did not practice.

Before Sunday’s Colts-Vikings game, Indianapolis held out tight end Tyler Warren (groin), cornerbacks Sauce Gardner (calf) and Justin Walley (knee) and guard Matt Goncalves (ankle), while Jonathan Taylor was limited on a rest day. Minnesota listed Justin Jefferson as limited with an ankle injury, and running back Jordan Mason, receiver Jordan Addison and tight end T.J. Hockenson were full participants.

Arizona running back Jeremiyah Love (ankle) has not practiced since October 9. Mike LaFleur said he is improving. Safety Budda Baker (groin/illness) also sat out. Denver cornerback Pat Surtain II (ankle) was limited in his first practice since Week 4, receiver Jaylen Waddle was limited, and running back Jonah Coleman was designated to return from injured reserve. Las Vegas tight end Brock Bowers was limited.

What comes next

Thursday’s reports will show whether Bosa returns to practice, whether Love’s back allows a full session, and how Charbonnet holds up after his first full day. The Bears and Patriots play on Thursday night, and all of the Sunday teams file their second report of the week on Thursday afternoon.

The why matters.
