Week 7 of the 2026 NFL season packs 14 games into five days, from a Thursday night trip to Chicago for the New England Patriots on October 22 to a Monday night NFC East meeting between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles on October 26. In between comes something the league has never staged before: a regular-season game in France.

The Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Chargers and Washington Commanders have the week off. All kickoff times below are Eastern, and the Sunday afternoon games on CBS and FOX are shown regionally, so the game on a local station depends on the market.

The storylines

Football in France. Pittsburgh and New Orleans open Sunday at Stade de France at 9:30 a.m., which is 2:30 p.m. in Paris, with the Saints as the designated home side. It is the first NFL regular-season game played in France. On Sunday, October 18, the league said preparations were going ahead as planned despite renewed street unrest around the country, and the Saints were set to fly out that night, a full week before kickoff.

A short week in Chicago. The Patriots host the Jets on Sunday and then turn around for Soldier Field four days later. A.J. Brown came off injured reserve on Saturday after missing four games with a high ankle sprain, so the Thursday game could be his second appearance in five days. The Bears, meanwhile, had Caleb Williams in line to start at Atlanta this weekend after three games out with a torn hamstring.

McKee’s Monday night. Philadelphia will face Dallas without Jalen Hurts, who went on injured reserve on Saturday with a blood clot in his calf. The stay keeps him out at least four games, so Tanner McKee is the starter for the prime-time division game and cannot hand the job back before the Eagles’ Week 10 bye.

Watching Lamar Jackson. Baltimore plays at Cleveland this weekend with Tyler Huntley at quarterback again, after Jackson’s ankle kept him out for a second straight game. Whether the two-time MVP is ready for the Bengals’ visit is the question the Ravens’ week of practice will start to answer.

Prime time out West. The Chiefs travel to Seattle for Sunday night. The game falls inside the league’s flexible-scheduling window, but it remains listed at 8:20 p.m. The late afternoon also brings an NFC North meeting between Green Bay and Detroit at Ford Field.

What comes next

Times and networks can still change through flexible scheduling. WhyNFL will update this schedule if the league moves a game, and the Thursday, Sunday night and Monday night previews will follow during the week.

The why matters.
