Key cogs back for NFC West clash

The Seattle Seahawks expect defensive end Leonard Williams and safety Ty Okada to play Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, head coach Mike Macdonald confirmed at his final press conference of the week.

Williams said he is feeling “good” after being limited during the week, per the team’s official site. His return bolsters a Seattle pass rush facing a 49ers offense that has started the season among the league’s most productive.

Sunday’s stakes

The Seahawks and 49ers meet in Santa Clara with early NFC West positioning on the line. Seattle is also monitoring the return of running back Zach Charbonnet, who could be back as soon as Week 6.
