The San Francisco 49ers signed defensive lineman Viliami Fehoko Jr. to their practice squad on Tuesday, October 6, bringing him back three days after they waived him.

His recent roster path

Fehoko joined San Francisco’s practice squad on September 23 and moved to the active roster on September 26. He appeared in one game before the October 3 waiver.

The new signing returns him to the practice squad. It does not establish another active-roster promotion or a place on the game-day roster.

Background before San Francisco

Dallas selected Fehoko in the fourth round, No. 129 overall, in the 2023 draft. He has also spent time with Washington and Indianapolis. At San Jose State, he recorded 23 sacks and 46 tackles for loss over 48 games.

Follow the 49ers team page and transaction tracker for subsequent roster updates.
