The Minnesota Vikings are elevating wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. from the practice squad ahead of their game against the New Orleans Saints, per Ian Rapoport. The move gives Minnesota extra depth and insurance with two of its top receivers listed as questionable.

Beckham joined the Vikings’ practice squad on Wednesday. He is not a lock to suit up in Week 5: head coach Kevin O’Connell said his availability depends on the statuses of Justin Jefferson, who missed last week’s 15-10 win over the Dolphins with a sprained ankle, and Jordan Addison, who is dealing with a hamstring injury. Both are listed as questionable for the 4-0 Vikings’ road game against the 1-3 Saints, per Pro Football Rumors.
