Baltimore backup Tyler Huntley started the Ravens’ 30-23 overtime win at Atlanta on October 12 and finished 24 of 32 for 201 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions, plus a rushing score. With Lamar Jackson still day to day after another Wednesday DNP for his sprained left ankle, Huntley remains the next man up for Sunday’s trip to Cleveland.

What Huntley put up in Atlanta

Huntley finished that start with a 111.6 passer rating and also scored on the ground. In three appearances this season he is 32 of 41 for 264 yards and two passing touchdowns with no interceptions, plus 10 carries for 36 yards and one rushing touchdown. Coach Jesse Minter praised the performance afterward on the Ravens’ official channels.

Jackson’s status for Cleveland

Jeff Zrebiec listed Jackson among the Wednesday DNPs (ankle), and Minter again called him day to day. Adam Schefter has said Jackson has a realistic chance to return Sunday at Huntington Bank Field. If Jackson cannot go, Huntley is the next man up behind an offense that still leaned on Zay Flowers — eight catches for 53 yards plus a 13-yard rush — in the Atlanta win.

The Ravens (4-1) visit the Browns (3-2) on Sunday, October 18, at 1 p.m. EDT.
