Thirty-one days from mid-October, the NFL’s final European stop of 2026 lands Sunday, November 15, when the New England Patriots face the Detroit Lions at FC Bayern Munich Arena — the league’s third regular-season game in Munich and sixth overall in Germany.
Kickoff is 9:30 a.m. Eastern / 3:30 p.m. Munich time in Week 10. The Lions are the designated home club. The date sits one week after Bengals–Falcons at the Bernabéu and one week before Vikings–49ers close the international slate in Mexico City.
Why Munich sits on this calendar
The 2026 international slate is the league’s largest yet: nine games across Melbourne, Rio de Janeiro, London, Paris, Madrid, Munich and Mexico City. Munich returns under a multiyear partnership with the City of Munich and FC Bayern Munich that already locked regular-season games for 2026 and 2028, with Berlin scheduled for 2027 and 2029.
Peter O’Reilly, the league’s executive vice president for club business, major events and international, framed the full overseas map in May as the most expansive international season to date — world-class clubs in iconic venues as the league’s growth plan stretches across four continents.
What is already locked
Matchup, venue and Eastern kickoff are published. Ticket sales for the Munich window have moved through registration-driven windows on the league’s international tickets hub; hotel packages have been listed through authorized partners. General admission windows have opened and closed in stages, so availability should be checked on the league’s Munich game page rather than treated as a standing on-sale.
Before Munich, Paris opens France’s first regular-season game (Steelers–Saints at Stade de France on October 25) and Madrid stages Bengals–Falcons on November 8. After Munich, Minnesota visits San Francisco’s designated home game at Estadio Banorte on November 22 to finish the 2026 overseas run.
