Week 9 is the first full week since both Egypt and the United States turned their clocks back, so every game falls on the familiar seven-hour gap. It opens with the Jacksonville Jaguars at the Baltimore Ravens at 3:15 am Friday in Cairo, and it has something no other week in the season has: a Sunday kickoff in Madrid that starts at 4:30 pm in Cairo, before the 1 pm ET games have even started in the United States.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Tennessee Titans are on bye. The Monday night game, the Buffalo Bills at the Minnesota Vikings, is a meeting of two 6-1 teams and kicks off at 3:15 am Tuesday in Cairo.

Thursday night: Jaguars at Ravens, 3:15 am Friday in Cairo

Jacksonville visits M&T Bank Stadium on Thursday, Nov. 5, at 8:15 pm ET on Prime Video. The Jaguars are 5-2 after a 42-7 win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Baltimore is 4-4 and will play without Lamar Jackson, who needs surgery on his right thumb and is going on injured reserve after getting hurt on the first snap of the 36-10 loss in Buffalo. Backup Tyler Huntley hurt his right toe in the same game and was set for an MRI on Monday, which left undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano as the only healthy quarterback on the roster at the end of the game.

Madrid: Bengals vs. Falcons, 4:30 pm Sunday in Cairo

The Cincinnati Bengals and Atlanta Falcons meet at the Santiago Bernabéu on Sunday, Nov. 8, at 9:30 am ET, which is 3:30 pm in Madrid and 4:30 pm in Cairo. Atlanta is the home team. Cincinnati is 5-2 after a 43-36 overtime win over Tennessee in which Joe Burrow threw five touchdown passes and ran in the winner. Atlanta is 3-5 after a 16-0 loss at Tampa Bay.

Here is the full Week 9 schedule. It includes the move of Raiders at 49ers from 4:05 pm ET on CBS to 4:25 pm ET on FOX and the switch of Lions at Dolphins from FOX to CBS, both announced on Oct. 26.

Games to circle

The 8 pm window in Cairo has the Denver Broncos, 6-2 after a 28-24 win over Kansas City on Sunday, at the 3-4 Carolina Panthers. The Detroit Lions, 5-2 after handing Minnesota its first loss, play at the 1-6 Miami Dolphins, and the Cleveland Browns, 5-3, visit the 2-5 New Orleans Saints.

At 11:25 pm, the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots meet at 5-3 each, and the 6-1 San Francisco 49ers host the Las Vegas Raiders, who are 4-4 after a 38-33 win over the Jets. Houston at the winless Los Angeles Chargers, 0-7, is the only game at 11:05 pm.

Sunday night sends the 3-5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the Chicago Bears, who are 5-2 and play at Seattle on Monday night before that. On Monday night, Buffalo goes to Minnesota with both teams at 6-1.

What comes next

The next Sunday night decision covers Week 10. Pittsburgh at Cincinnati is in the slot on Sunday, Nov. 15, at 8:20 pm ET on NBC, which is 3:20 am Monday in Cairo. A flex has to be announced by the end of Tuesday, Nov. 3, in the United States, which is early Wednesday morning in Cairo. The Steelers come out of their bye at 6-2 and the Bengals are 5-2, so the game as scheduled is a meeting of two AFC North contenders.

The why matters.
