Where the interior rush stands

Murphy also sacked the Chargers once in Week 4. Through five games he has 18 tackles, three sacks and five tackles for loss. Teammate Leonard Williams still has three sacks of his own, all from the first three weeks, but he has been quieter the last two games with one assisted tackle against the 49ers and none against the Chargers.

Murphy was the 16th overall pick in 2024 out of Texas. He tied for the team lead with seven sacks during Seattle’s 2025 Super Bowl run and recovered a fumble in the title game.

Thursday in Denver

The Seahawks (3-2) visit the Broncos (3-2) at Empower Field at Mile High on Thursday, October 15, at 8:15 p.m. EDT. Adam Schefter reported that Denver ruled out Patrick Surtain II and that Jaxon Smith-Njigba has no injury designation for Seattle.
