The finish in context

Cleveland led 21–10 at halftime. After a scoreless third quarter, Aaron Rodgers threw fourth-quarter touchdown passes to Darnell Washington and Pat Freiermuth. His two-point run tied the game with 1:42 remaining. The Browns then moved 36 yards in seven plays to set up Szmyt’s winner. Grant Delpit’s interception closed Pittsburgh’s final possession.

For the conventional recap, read how Cleveland answered the Steelers’ late rally.

About the replay

Scoring clocks show the time remaining after the completed scoring sequence. The winning kick was snapped at 0:15 and changed the score at 0:10. This is an editorial replay, not a live score service.

The interactive’s opening photograph shows Cleveland’s lakefront stadium on May 22, 2018. It is an archive venue image, not a photograph of the 2026 game.
