Aaron Donald told reporters Friday that he plans to play Monday night when the Los Angeles Rams face the Buffalo Bills, saying his back has held up through rehab without any setbacks. “I feel good,” Donald said. “I feel a lot better than I was.”

Update, Saturday evening: The Rams expect Donald, Parkinson and Watson all to play Monday night against the Bills, per Adam Schefter.

Donald missed Week 4 with the back injury. Rams coach Sean McVay said the expectation is that Donald, cornerback Jaylen Watson (shoulder) and tight end Colby Parkinson (shoulder) will all be ready for Week 5 against Buffalo “as long as they progress accordingly,” per the team’s official site. Donald practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, and no injured-reserve move is expected.

Donald, 35, came out of retirement this year on a one-year, $20 million deal. He has played 54 percent of the Rams’ defensive snaps and ranked second among interior defensive linemen in pass-rush win rate at 33 percent through two games, per Pro Football Rumors. His contract pays $667,000 per game in roster bonuses as long as he is on the 53-man roster, whether or not he plays.
