The Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Philadelphia Eagles 27–10 on the road at Veterans Stadium in the NFC Championship Game of the 2002 playoffs on January 19, 2003.
The Buccaneers went 12–4 in the regular season and the Eagles went 12–4. The Buccaneers had already beaten the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional round. The Buccaneers went on to win Super Bowl XXXVII, beating the Oakland Raiders 48–21. The loss ended the Eagles’ season.
In their previous meeting, the Philadelphia Eagles won 20–10 on October 20, 2002. When they met again, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won 17–0 on September 8, 2003.
