Jets beat Patriots 28–21 in the Divisional round

The New York Jets beat the New England Patriots 28–21 on the road at Gillette Stadium in the Divisional round of the 2010 playoffs on January 16, 2011. It was a one-score game at the finish, decided by 7 points.

The Jets went 11–5 in the regular season and the Patriots went 14–2. The Jets had already beaten the Indianapolis Colts in the Wild Card round. The Jets’ run ended in the AFC Championship Game, a 24–19 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The loss ended the Patriots’ season.
