The Houston Texans brought back defensive tackle Naquan Jones from the San Francisco 49ers’ practice squad, and the Atlanta Falcons cut two defensive ends as James Pearce Jr. returned from his eight-game suspension.

The moves that matter

Ravens add a quarterback. Baltimore signed Reed and released fullback Lucas Scott from the practice squad to make room. Reed, 26, was in training camp and the preseason with the team, completing 6 of 12 passes for 59 yards with a touchdown and an interception, and he ran for a 14-yard touchdown. He also played for the Dallas Renegades in the UFL and spent the summer of 2025 with the Chicago Bears under Declan Doyle, who is now Baltimore’s offensive coordinator. Rookie Joe Fagnano is expected to start Thursday night against the Jaguars, with Reed in line to back him up.

Jackson, who hurt his right thumb on his first snap of Sunday’s game, needs surgery and the team has said he will go on injured reserve. That move had not shown up in the league’s transaction log by Monday evening, and Huntley is reportedly dealing with turf toe. Our Lamar Jackson injury report has the details, and our interactive walks through how Baltimore got here.

Price is back for the Seahawks. Seattle activated Price, its first-round pick, from injured reserve after he missed four games with a chest injury, and he had no injury designation for the game against the Bears. Before the injury, he ran for 119 yards on 28 carries in three games and added four catches for 21 yards. The Seahawks waived running back Robert Henry Jr. to open the roster spot, and Zach Charbonnet, who tore his ACL last January, was set to make his 2026 debut in the same backfield. Seattle also elevated receiver Montorie Foster Jr. and tackle Bobby Hart with left tackle Charles Cross and receiver Rashid Shaheed ruled out. Chicago elevated tight end Stephen Carlson, who has not played this season.

Texans reunite with Naquan Jones. Houston signed Jones to the 53-man roster after its bye week and waived Jaden Crumedy, who had six tackles and a half-sack in six games. Jones played four regular-season games and two playoff games for the Texans last season, and he had appeared in three games for the 49ers this year. San Francisco replaced him on the practice squad with receiver KhaDarel Hodge. The Texans also signed running back Joshua Pitsenberger to the practice squad and released running back Deuce Vaughn from it.

Falcons clear two spots for Pearce. Atlanta waived Ivey, who was claimed from Seattle before the season and had eight tackles and a sack in seven games, and released Jackson, who had played two games after being promoted from the practice squad. The league lifted the suspension of Pearce, a 2025 first-round pick, on Monday, and he is eligible to make his season debut Sunday against the Bengals in Madrid. The Falcons did not fill either spot, leaving room to add him and linebacker Yasir Abdullah, who is eligible to return from injured reserve. The league’s log also shows the suspension of Bills safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson lifted. Our Madrid game week guide has the trip details.

Browns cut Estime. Cleveland waived running back Audric Estime, whom it signed from the Vikings’ practice squad on October 13 when Raheim Sanders went on injured reserve. He played in one game for the Browns and had nine carries for 19 yards and a touchdown. The Panthers added linebacker Mohamoud Diabate to the practice squad and designated lineman Brady Christensen to return from injured reserve, and the Patriots waived safety Elliott Davison and signed running back Terrell Jennings to the practice squad.

What comes next

Washington has still not placed defensive tackle Daron Payne on injured reserve, and clubs often file a second wave of Tuesday moves after the weekly waiver claims. The trade deadline is Tuesday, November 10, at 4 p.m. ET. Check back for Tuesday’s roundup.
