Eight months after Super Bowl LX, the two teams that played for the title at Levi’s Stadium are in the same place. The champion Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots are both 3–2 after five weeks, and both sit second in their divisions heading into Week 6.

Seattle beat New England 29–13 on February 8, with running back Kenneth Walker III named game MVP. The rematch came first on the 2026 calendar: the Seahawks opened the season by beating the Patriots 13–10 at Lumen Field on September 9.
