Zay Flowers is active for the Baltimore Ravens against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday night, giving backup quarterback Tyler Huntley his most dangerous target, while pass rusher Trey Hendrickson and newly acquired center Cam Jurgens are among the six Ravens who will not play at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The decision on Flowers was the biggest one Baltimore faced before the 8:20 p.m. EDT kickoff. The receiver carried a questionable tag into the weekend because of a foot problem and was held to limited work in each practice this week. With Lamar Jackson out, the Ravens needed every proven playmaker they could put around Huntley, who is making his first start of the 2026 season.

Who is out for Baltimore
The Ravens’ inactive list is Jackson, Hendrickson, Jurgens, guard Andrew Vorhees, receiver Elijah Sarratt and defensive tackle Aeneas Peebles. Jackson hurt his ankle in last Sunday’s 24-18 win over the Tennessee Titans, did not come out for the second half and sat out practice all week. Vorhees has a foot injury. Hendrickson’s absence leaves the pass rush a starter short.
Jurgens arrived from the Philadelphia Eagles in a trade this week and has yet to suit up for Baltimore. Reports late in the week pointed to his first game coming next Sunday in Cleveland rather than tonight, and the Ravens listed him out with a concussion in their Friday injury report.
Cornerback Marlon Humphrey will play. His calf and hamstring had made him a game-time question, but he got back on the practice field in a limited role on Friday.
Atlanta’s list
The Falcons get three questionable starters back in the lineup. Left tackle Jake Matthews (groin), linebacker Divine Deablo (hamstring) and defensive end Samson Ebukam (hamstring) are all active. Matthews’ return keeps his long run of consecutive starts going.
Atlanta’s inactives are defensive end Za’Darius Smith, who was ruled out on Friday, linebacker Christian Harris, quarterbacks Cooper Rush and Jack Strand, offensive lineman Ethan Onianwa and defensive backs Malcolm DeWalt IV and Robert Longerbeam. Rush is the emergency third quarterback, so he can still enter the game under league rules if both other quarterbacks are hurt.
What is at stake
Baltimore arrives at 3-1 and is trying to protect its lead while Jackson recovers; Ian Rapoport reported this weekend that the two-time MVP has a real chance to return next week against the Browns. The Falcons are 2-2 and are looking for a signature home win in prime time.

What comes next
The Ravens visit the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, October 18, at 1 p.m. EDT. The Falcons stay home to host the Chicago Bears at the same time.
