Practice window open

The Seahawks opened Charbonnet’s 21-day practice window last week and must activate him by Week 7 or return him to injured reserve for the rest of the season. Seattle placed rookie first-round running back Jadarian Price on injured reserve two days after opening Charbonnet’s window.

Backfield picture

Kenneth Walker III has handled the lead role in Charbonnet’s absence. Whether Charbonnet returns for next week’s Thursday game is uncertain; the short week could push his activation to Week 7.

The why matters.
