Love: “I’m feeling really, really good”

The Arizona Cardinals expect running back Jeremiyah Love to be available Sunday against the Detroit Lions after he practiced fully on Friday. Love carried no game-status designation on the final injury report despite having his ankle “managed” earlier in the week.

“I’m feeling really, really good this week,” Love said. Head coach Mike LaFleur described the situation as “a maintenance thing with ankles.”

Two starters ruled out

The Cardinals ruled out starting right guard Isaiah Adams (ankle) and starting safety Andrew Wingard (knee), neither of whom practiced all week. Defensive lineman Walter Nolen III (calf) and linebacker Karson Sharar (hamstring) are questionable, though LaFleur said Nolen is “trending good.”

For Detroit, guard Ben Bartch (foot), safety Brian Branch, center Cade Mays (wrist) and cornerback Rock Ya-Sin (hamstring) were ruled out, and defensive tackle Tyleik Williams (foot) is questionable.

The why matters.
