George Kittle is active for the San Francisco 49ers at Seattle despite an illness, and Mykel Williams will make his season debut, after the inactive lists for Sunday’s two 4:25 p.m. EDT games came out on October 11. In Glendale, Marvin Harrison Jr. sits for the Arizona Cardinals against the Detroit Lions while his trade is completed.

Adam Schefter reported around 2 p.m. EDT that the tight end was sick but expected to face the Seahawks, and the 49ers left him off their list 90 minutes before kickoff. The 4-0 49ers bring their star tight end into a division game at Lumen Field against a 3-1 Seattle team that is a game behind them.

San Francisco has not said whether the illness will limit his snaps.

49ers get Mykel Williams back, play again without Bosa

Williams, the 2025 first-round pick who opened the season on the physically unable to perform list after tearing his ACL as a rookie, was questionable with a knee injury and is active. Cornerback Upton Stout, questionable with a shoulder injury after missing practice all week, is active too.

The 49ers’ seven inactive players are defensive end Nick Bosa, who misses a third straight game with knee and calf injuries, fullback Kyle Juszczyk (knee), safety Marques Sigle (ankle), defensive tackle James Thompson Jr. (ankle), linebacker Tatum Bethune, offensive lineman Enrique Cruz Jr. and quarterback Kurtis Rourke. Williams’ return gives the pass rush a lift while Bosa is out.

Seahawks are close to full strength

Seattle’s list holds few surprises. Linebacker Chazz Surratt, ruled out on Friday with a calf injury, misses his second straight game, and the other inactive players are emergency third quarterback Jalen Milroe, running back Robert Henry Jr., receiver Montorie Foster Jr. and tight end Nick Kallerup, as Corbin Smith posted. Running back George Holani, who was questionable with rib and knee injuries, is not on the list. Defensive lineman Leonard Williams and safety Ty Okada had already been cleared, and Zach Charbonnet remains sidelined while he works back from his knee injury.

Harrison sits as Cardinals finish the trade

Arizona’s inactive players are receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., quarterback Carson Beck, cornerback Starling Thomas V, safety Andrew Wingard and defensive lineman Andrew Billings. Harrison had been ruled out of the game while the Cardinals work to finish a deal that would send him away; the Houston Texans have been reported as the likely destination, and no trade has been announced.

Detroit sits guard Ben Bartch, cornerback Rock Ya-Sin, safety Bishop Fitzgerald, edge rusher Ahmed Hassanein, tight end Jackson Meeks and defensive lineman Mekhi Wingo. The Lions come in at 2-2, the Cardinals at 1-3.

What comes next

Both games kick off at 4:25 p.m. EDT; follow the 49ers-Seahawks and Lions-Cardinals Game Centers and the injury report page. Seattle turns around to visit the Denver Broncos on Thursday, October 15, San Francisco hosts the Washington Commanders on Monday, October 19, Arizona visits the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, October 18, and Detroit hosts the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, October 25.
