How the NFC turned the game around
The AFC led 44–36 at halftime and stretched that advantage to 52–36 during the third quarter. The NFC then scored the game's final 30 points: 16 to draw level at 52–52 after three quarters, followed by a 14–0 fourth quarter.
Dak Prescott and Jalen Hurts shared the NFC quarterback work during the second-half comeback. Prescott finished with four touchdown passes and Hurts with three. A Hurts pitch to Prescott led to a touchdown for George Pickens that put the NFC back in front.
The AFC's next chance to respond ended with Antoine Winfield Jr. intercepting Joe Burrow in the end zone. Hurts later connected with CeeDee Lamb for the closing touchdown. The final margin was 14 points, after an eight-point NFC deficit at halftime.
Jerry Rice coached the NFC and Steve Young coached the AFC. The event rewarded performances from the 2025 season, even though the game took place in February 2026.
