The New England Patriots beat the Indianapolis Colts 44–13 at home at Foxboro Stadium in Week 3 of the 2001 regular season on September 30, 2001.

The result moved the Patriots to 1–2 and dropped the Colts to 2–1. The Colts finished 2001 at 6–10 and missed the playoffs. The Patriots finished 2001 at 11–5 and won Super Bowl XXXVI. The Patriots’ 44 points were their most in any game of 2001.
