Colts win Super Bowl XLI, 29–17 over the Chicago Bears

The Indianapolis Colts beat the Chicago Bears 29–17 at Dolphin Stadium, a neutral site, in Super Bowl XLI on February 4, 2007.

The Colts went 12–4 in the regular season and the Bears went 13–3. The Colts had already beaten the Kansas City Chiefs in the Wild Card round, the Baltimore Ravens in the Divisional round, and the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game. Counting from the 1999 season, it was the franchise’s first Super Bowl title. The loss ended the Bears’ season.

In their previous meeting, the Indianapolis Colts won 41–10 on November 21, 2004. When they met again, the Chicago Bears won 29–13 on September 7, 2008.
