Patriots beat Texans 23–20 in 2003 Week 12

The New England Patriots beat the Houston Texans 23–20 on the road at Reliant Stadium in overtime in Week 12 of the 2003 regular season on November 23, 2003. It was decided by 3 points, a field goal or less.

It was one of three games of Week 12 to need overtime.

The result moved the Patriots to 9–2 and dropped the Texans to 4–7. It was the Patriots’ seventh straight win. The Patriots finished 2003 at 14–2 and won Super Bowl XXXVIII. The Texans finished 2003 at 5–11 and missed the playoffs.
