The Indianapolis Colts will go into Sunday’s road game against the unbeaten Minnesota Vikings without tight end Tyler Warren, cornerback Sauce Gardner and rookie linebacker CJ Allen. Warren (groin) and Gardner (calf) were ruled out by Shane Steichen on Friday together with receiver and returner Anthony Gould (concussion), and Allen (ankle) was downgraded from questionable to out on Saturday.
Per Shane Steichen, we have ruled out WR Anthony Gould (concussion), TE Tyler Warren (groin) and CB Sauce Gardner (calf) for #INDvsMIN.

Two other players are still questionable: rookie linebacker Bryce Boettcher (groin) and cornerback Justin Walley (knee). Punter Rigoberto Sanchez, who had been listed with a right foot injury, had his designation removed and will kick.
Warren and Gardner miss out
Warren hurt his groin in practice before Week 6 and sat out last Sunday’s 26-20 home loss to the Tennessee Titans, so this will be his second straight absence. Losing him again leaves Daniel Jones without one of the most important targets in the offense.
Gardner left the Titans game with a calf injury, and an MRI showed a mild strain. He said during the week that he was not worried about it, but he will not play against Minnesota. Gould also came out of that game with his concussion and has not been cleared.
Linebacker depth and Saturday’s moves
Allen and Boettcher both missed practice for two days, which left the Colts short at linebacker. On Saturday they answered by elevating veteran Germaine Pratt from the practice squad. Pratt joined the practice squad on October 13 and brings 104 starts in 112 career games, including 12 starts for Indianapolis in 2025. Cornerback Kenneth Harris was elevated as well to add depth behind the injured Gardner. Punter Thomas Morstead, who had joined the practice squad on Tuesday, was released.
On the other side, the Vikings activated running back Jordan Mason from injured reserve on Saturday. He had been listed as questionable with a thumb injury, and Adam Schefter included him among the players expected to play on Sunday.
What comes next
The Colts (2-4) visit the Vikings (5-0), who are coming off their bye, at U.S. Bank Stadium at 1:00 p.m. EDT on Sunday, October 25. It is the first game since the club relieved general manager Chris Ballard of his duties on Monday. Indianapolis then travels to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, November 1.
