Falcons beat Panthers 20–14 in 2003 Week 14

The Atlanta Falcons beat the Carolina Panthers 20–14 at home at Georgia Dome in overtime in Week 14 of the 2003 regular season on December 7, 2003. It was a one-score game at the finish, decided by 6 points.

It was the only game of Week 14 to need overtime.

The result moved the Falcons to 3–10 and dropped the Panthers to 8–5. It was the Panthers’ third straight loss. The Panthers finished 2003 at 11–5 and lost Super Bowl XXXVIII. The Falcons finished 2003 at 5–11 and missed the playoffs.

In their previous meeting, the Carolina Panthers won 23–3 on September 28, 2003. When they met again, the Atlanta Falcons won 27–10 on October 3, 2004. The teams split their two 2003 meetings.
