Patriots beat Titans 17–14 in the Divisional round

The New England Patriots beat the Tennessee Titans 17–14 at home at Gillette Stadium in the Divisional round of the 2003 playoffs on January 10, 2004. It was decided by 3 points, a field goal or less.

The Titans went 12–4 in the regular season and the Patriots went 14–2. The Patriots went on to win Super Bowl XXXVIII, beating the Carolina Panthers 32–29. The loss ended the Titans’ season.

In their previous meeting, the New England Patriots won 38–30 on October 5, 2003. When they met again, the New England Patriots won 40–23 on December 31, 2006.
