Rams win Super Bowl LVI, 23–20 over the Cincinnati Bengals

The Los Angeles Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals 23–20 at SoFi Stadium, a neutral site, in Super Bowl LVI on February 13, 2022. It was decided by 3 points, a field goal or less.

The Rams went 12–5 in the regular season and the Bengals went 10–7. The Rams had already beaten the Arizona Cardinals in the Wild Card round, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Divisional round, and the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game. Counting from the 1999 season, it was the franchise’s second Super Bowl title. The loss ended the Bengals’ season.

In their previous meeting, the Los Angeles Rams won 24–10 on October 27, 2019. When they met again, the Cincinnati Bengals won 19–16 on September 25, 2023.
