Rams beat Seahawks 34–31 in 2015 Week 1

The St. Louis Rams beat the Seattle Seahawks 34–31 at home at Edward Jones Dome in overtime in Week 1 of the 2015 regular season on September 13, 2015. It was decided by 3 points, a field goal or less.

The 65 combined points were the most in any game of Week 1. It was the only game of Week 1 to need overtime.

The result moved the Rams to 1–0 and dropped the Seahawks to 0–1. The Seahawks finished 2015 at 10–6 and lost in the Divisional round. The Rams finished 2015 at 7–9 and missed the playoffs. The Rams’ 34 points were their most in any game of 2015.

In their previous meeting, the Seattle Seahawks won 20–6 on December 28, 2014. When they met again, the St. Louis Rams won 23–17 on December 27, 2015.
