Preview updated October 2, 2026: Friday game designations and viewing details have been added for Sunday’s Week 4 matchup.
The Arizona Cardinals visit the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, October 4. Kickoff is 1 p.m. EDT, which is 10 a.m. in Arizona (MST). Arizona’s pass rush has an unresolved question: Josh Sweat is questionable after a groin issue limited him Friday.
CBS carries the game in selected markets, with Spero Dedes, Adam Archuleta and Aditi Kinkhabwala on the broadcast. Check the local CBS listing; a CBS game is not necessarily shown nationwide. NFL+ offers the live local game on phones and tablets for eligible subscribers in market. It is not an out-of-market television stream.
Arizona radio coverage is on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM, with Spanish coverage on Latino Mix 100.3 FM. International viewing rights vary by country.
A questionable designation leaves Sweat’s availability unresolved. Taylor-Demerson’s absence also matters behind the front: with Kitan Crawford on injured reserve, rookie Wydett Williams Jr. has already earned defensive playing time. That does not establish Sunday’s precise snap allocation.
Jameis Winston is the central quarterback figure for New York following Jaxson Dart’s season-ending regular-season injury. The Giants won 12–7 against Tennessee with four field goals, but they had not scored an offensive touchdown since Winston took over in Week 2. Improving finishing drives is therefore a more useful test than simply asking whether New York can gain yards.
For Arizona, the matchup brings two connected tasks: generate pressure without assuming Sweat will play, and remain disciplined when Winston attacks tight throwing windows. On the other side, Trey McBride gives readers a key Cardinals receiving option to follow. These are matchup questions, not predictions of a starter change or a particular result.
Availability above reflects Friday’s official report, not the game-day inactive list. The separate roster and injury widgets can carry different update dates.
The defensive lineman will miss at least four games, and a beat reporter expects the absence to run longer. New York called up Dalen Cambre and Trace Ford for Sunday.
Line judge Jeff Seeman will sit two games and referee Adrian Hill one after on-camera confrontations with players during Week 4.
The veteran returner joined the active roster only a week ago; Charlie Jones and Tyrone Tracy Jr. are set to take over kickoffs and punts.
