The New England Patriots beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 31–20 at home at Gillette Stadium in the Divisional round of the 2007 playoffs on January 12, 2008.
The Jaguars went 11–5 in the regular season and the Patriots went 16–0. The Patriots’ run ended in the Super Bowl XLII, a 17–14 loss to the New York Giants. The loss ended the Jaguars’ season.
In their previous meeting, the New England Patriots won 24–21 on December 24, 2006. When they met again, the New England Patriots won 35–7 on December 27, 2009.
