Ravens win Super Bowl XLVII, 34–31 over the San Francisco 49ers

The Ravens went 10–6 in the regular season and the 49ers went 11–4–1. The Ravens had already beaten the Indianapolis Colts in the Wild Card round, the Denver Broncos in the Divisional round, and the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game. Counting from the 1999 season, it was the franchise’s second Super Bowl title. The loss ended the 49ers’ season.
In their previous meeting, the Baltimore Ravens won 16–6 on November 24, 2011. When they met again, the San Francisco 49ers won 25–20 on October 18, 2015.
