The San Francisco 49ers beat the Green Bay Packers 45–31 at home at Candlestick Park in the Divisional round of the 2012 playoffs on January 12, 2013.

The 76 combined points were the most in any game of the 2012 playoffs.

The Packers went 11–5 in the regular season and the 49ers went 11–4–1. The 49ers’ run ended in the Super Bowl XLVII, a 34–31 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The loss ended the Packers’ season.

In their previous meeting, the San Francisco 49ers won 30–22 on September 9, 2012. When they met again, the San Francisco 49ers won 34–28 on September 8, 2013.
