Eagles win Super Bowl LII, 41–33 over the New England Patriots

The Philadelphia Eagles beat the New England Patriots 41–33 at U.S. Bank Stadium, a neutral site, in Super Bowl LII on February 4, 2018. It was a one-score game at the finish, decided by 8 points.

The Eagles went 13–3 in the regular season and the Patriots went 13–3. The Eagles had already beaten the Atlanta Falcons in the Divisional round and the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship Game. Counting from the 1999 season, it was the franchise’s first Super Bowl title. The loss ended the Patriots’ season.

In their previous meeting, the Philadelphia Eagles won 35–28 on December 6, 2015. When they met again, the New England Patriots won 17–10 on November 17, 2019.
