Patriots beat Chargers 41–28 in the Divisional round

The New England Patriots beat the Los Angeles Chargers 41–28 at home at Gillette Stadium in the Divisional round of the 2018 playoffs on January 13, 2019.

The 69 combined points were the most in any game of the 2018 playoffs.

The Chargers went 12–4 in the regular season and the Patriots went 11–5. The Patriots went on to win Super Bowl LIII, beating the Los Angeles Rams 13–3. The loss ended the Chargers’ season.

In their previous meeting, the New England Patriots won 21–13 on October 29, 2017. When they met again, the New England Patriots won 45–0 on December 6, 2020.
