Watson is one behind

Watson’s six receiving touchdowns include two in the opener at Minnesota and two more in Sunday’s 31-7 win over Chicago, when he had six catches for 143 yards. He has 26 receptions for 474 yards through five weeks. St. Brown sits alone in third with five scores for Detroit.

Four tight ends are tied at four touchdowns: Kittle, Gesicki, Likely and Freiermuth. Smith-Njigba’s 37 catches trail only Arizona’s Trey McBride (42) and are tied with Detroit’s Amon-Ra St. Brown for fourth in the league.

Thursday night is the first chance to pad the lead

Seattle plays at Denver on Thursday night, the first game of Week 6. Watson and the Packers host Cincinnati on Sunday, St. Brown’s Lions are on a bye, and Adams and the Rams host Arizona on Sunday. A quiet night in Denver would give Watson a full week to catch up.
